有好久好久沒寫blog了，在昏天暗地的忙碌了一個半月後，總算趕在年節前完成所有的工作，然後讓自己完全放空的過了一個春節假期。農曆年過完之後不久，我收到了第一封從我所申請的研究所寄來的錄取通知，

Hi Timmy,
Congratulations! You are fully accepted into the MFA program for Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University.

The director says that you have good potential for our graduate program. He says your portfolio demonstrates type, layout and production skills, but he wants you to work on elevation of these skills as well as developing narrative and conceptual abilities in the MFA.

The first set of classes for you are the following:
GR 615: History of Graphic Design
GR 616: Making Ideas Visible
GR 617: Type Survey 1
Let me know when you would be ready to register for classes. I am the person who registers you for your first semester of classes. I will be needing $140.00 from you, $100 of which is a tuition deposit, $20 for student activity fee and $20 for registration.

收到信的時候，是台灣時間早上六點多，那陣子的我，已經練就一身只要聽到”You’ve got mail!”就會立刻從睡夢中驚醒的功力，所以當我看到寄件人是學校advisor的時候，我真的緊張了，一直到看到內文的第一個字，我才放下心中的一顆大石，接著我反覆讀了好幾次信件，不斷的確認我沒看錯。我想，這封信的到來，也等於正式宣佈我未來幾年將要面對的新挑戰了。
